I love scarves and I love estate sales. What do those two things have in common? You can almost always find beautiful scarves at an estate sale! I found my favorite Laura Ashley scarf at an estate sale down the street. I think it was $1, may have been less because they are always available the last day of the sale when things are marked down 50%.
Some people have trepidation when it comes to scarves because they don’t know how to wear them. Here are 3 super simple ways to wear a scarf:
1. Hair scarf – just tie it around your pony tail to add some extra color or accessories to your outfit.
2. Tie it on your purse strap – easy, changeable, great way to look more coordinated with your purse.
3. Around your neck with a square knot – there are so many ways to tie a scarf around your neck, I prefer the simple square knot for it’s ease.
Bonus: around your wrist. I admit, I don’t ever do this because it gets in my way, but I can’t deny it’s cute!
