When I started this blog, I knew that I wanted to challenge myself to a month of blog posts. Well, that time has come around. 30 straight days of posts! I’m not going to lie, I chose this month because it is summertime, and I typically do a lot more in the summer than winter… ergo, more things to write about. I call that good planning.
Last night when I was trying to go to sleep, I kept thinking of amazing posts to do. I promptly forgot most of them when I fell asleep, but hopefully I can think of more (or remember them) to keep up a good variety. I once read that you shouldn’t start a blog until you had atleast 100 blog post ideas written down. At the time, that seemed crazy! Thankfully, WordPress is great and allows for draft posts, so I’ve been writing ideas down that way. Some of the drafts are just titles so I don’t forget a particular topic, others are a little more fleshed out. 30 will be interesting though. I’m pretty excited to see how the month will go.
With that being said, this is a short and sweet post introducing the challenge. If you’re a writer, I challenge you to also try 30 straight days of writing, whether it be Journaling, blogging, novel writing, etc. Let’s get writing.
